Notes

Garlic scapes are a spring treat.  They are only available for 2 or 3 weeks at the end of May and beginning of June in Grand Island, NE.  They pair well with any number of dishes including, meat, fish and even sandwiches like burgers.  They can be fun for the non-veggie lovers to eat because of their mild flavor and crisp texture.
